ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS
Programming at the Field Center is designed to offer non-academic learning spaces for adult artists, and to offer teachers a home for experimental and non-academic teaching practices. Our programming is year round and is generally divided between weekend-long events and longer workshops/intensives in which small groups live and work together for 7-14 days at a time, generally led by 1-2 teachers from a variety of disciplines. During the summer months we host a variety of festivals and cultural events. Some of our recurring programs include material related to our summer PANDA LABS which are deep dives into dance + performance development, Group Shakes, Contact Improvisation,
and the Axis Syllabus.

RESIDENTIAL WORK EXCHANGE
The Residential Work Exchange program provides opportunities for young artists interested in the Performance and Dance fields to learn more about how rural art-centric residency spaces operate. This application-based program is designed for those wanting to offer their time and labor in exchange for access to programming and facilities.
Residential Work Exchangers complete their daily hours in labor that can include event support, housekeeping, building+grounds maintenance, gardening, light administration and kitchen assistance. In exchange they receive access to public events programs during their session, access to most facilities, and a shared room. This program is available for up to 2 participants at a time.
